StageRing Privacy Policy

StageRing stores everything on-device and collects nothing.

What we collect

Nothing. StageRing has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no cloud services. The app never transmits your data to the developer or to any third party.

What stays on your device

Sound files, cues, settings, and photos taken with the in-app prop camera are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Local network

StageRing serves a control web page and listens for OSC messages on your local network so that a show operator can trigger effects on the device. This traffic stays on your network and is not sent to us or anyone else. The web interface is protected by a PIN you set on the device.

Permissions

• Camera: used only by the in-app prop camera to show a viewfinder and save prop photos inside the app.
• Local network: used to let show operators on the same network trigger sounds and effects.
• Photo library: only accessed if you choose to import media files from it.
